Thank you Colvos Construction!

The Colvos Construction table clearly enjoyed last year’s dessert auction.

New Phoebe House is thrilled to welcome Colvos Construction as a “Shoot for the Stars” sponsor for our 2019 gala.  This is Colvos’ second year sponsoring our event and we are grateful for their support.

Colvos is a Tacoma-based general contractor led by President, Devin Page and Vice President, Anders Bjorn. The company was founded in 2016 with a focus on not only delivering excellence, but also on building relationships and community. Colvos is committed to creating a company culture that is focused on giving back to the communities they serve. Some of their work includes projects for Infoblox, Ivar’s, and Tacoma Public Schools.

Their involvement with New Phoebe House came via introduction from Julia Schiro, with Chicago Title. Julia spoke passionately of the organization’s impact in our community, and of her own family’s struggles with addiction and trauma. It hit home for Colvos as they see the impact of homeless first-hand. There are many mornings when they arrive at their office along Tacoma’s Opera Alley only to see people in need of help.

For Devin and Anders, it became clear that as a growing Tacoma company, Colvos needed to support change. “There is no better organization than New Phoebe House,” said Devin. “Their long-term dedication to mothers and children in need is not only unique – it works, and it is an honor to be a part of that.”

They are especially excited for this year’s event, which is March 2, 2019 at Tacoma’s Hotel Murano.  Devin noted, “Last year’s event was so much fun. We spent the evening socializing with friends and learning more about the organization. I really enjoyed hearing the heartfelt and emotional stories from the Phoebe’s themselves. They’ve overcome so much in life!”

Please join us this year to help us all celebrate our hard work, and to help ensure the financial security of our wonderful organization.  Join Colvos as a sponsor or purchase tickets by clicking here.
